• I have attended many inservices and seminars to try to help my Chabad House.  What makes this different?  There are many differences, but the main difference is that you have weekly reinforcement for an entire year.  You learn and apply the concepts gradually, so they are truly integrated into your Chabad House.
  • What is the cost for Phase 2 of Chabad E-Myth?   The cost for Phase 2 is $200/month, and involves a one-year commitment.  Hardship scholarships are available to those who need them, and commit to working consistently and productively within the program.
  • Is there a discount for those who were part of the beta group?  Yes, the Shluchim in the beta group (Phase 1) will be charged $100/month, provided their membership is in good standing.
  • What if I joined Phase 1, but left the group?  Can I join at the discounted rate?  If you left Phase I, you are no longer a charter member, and must join at Phase 2 rates.
  • How does Phase 1 differ from Phase 2?  Phase 1 of Chabad E-Myth was an intensive integration of E-Myth principles into our way of thinking about our Chabad Houses.  It involved the development of the Organization Chart, creation of Position Contracts, and practical application in the development of Action Plans.  Phase 2 will focus on the development of Systems for all of the benchmarks contained within action plans, and the creation of manuals that will be available to all members of this group.
  • What will happen with the beta group of Phase 1 who already know the concepts?  Will we be held up while Phase 2 members learn?  During the month of May, we had an additional teleconference. led by Michoel Gerber and Cheryl White, specifically for Phase 2 members.  Any new members who join throughout the year will work with Cheryl White to learn the concepts and get "up to speed" so that they can become productive participants.
  • Will individual coaching still be available in Phase 2?  Yes.  For those who want coaching services, it will be available for $100 for five 1/2 hour sessions.
  • What is the benefit of signing up now, rather than when the product is ready in Phase 3?  Collaborating with your fellow Shluchim each week, receiving continual reinforcement of the concepts, and being a part of the development of the manuals is an invaluable experience that will never be repeated.  Phase 3 will be more expensive.  It will require a one-week class in San Diego, the cost of the manuals, travel and expenses.
  • Is this program for any type of shliach?    ~Yes!  Every organization, large & small benefits from E-Myth.
  • What is the commitment of time and work, for the shliach, toward the project?  ~Shluchim are expected to participate in the weekly teleconference, and to dedicate at least a few hours each week for E-Myth work.  As the project progresses, the personal time commitment will be more clear to each person.  Some weeks there will be more work; some weeks there will be less.
  •  Assuming the organization is established as planned, how does that take the responsibility away from the few, doing all the work, in a small shul?  ~The responsibility and accountability is delegated to others who will become masters of the systems we develop.  The Shliach, however, is always accountable for the successful operation of the Chabad House, as are all CEOs of their organization.  As we move forward, you will learn the difference between Accountable and Responsible – Delegation vs. Abdication.   You will learn, through this system, how to find the help you need and to grow your small shul.  The tasks that overwhelm you, week after week, will be done by others.
  • Is there any way to get a discount for those who truly cannot afford the fee?  ~No, not now.  As the work moves forward, as the Systems and Organization are developed, there will be a process by which we enroll all interested Shluchim in the Chabad E-Myth Business Development Program with a schedule of fees consistent with the reality of the Shliach’s current circumstances.   The benefit of enrolling now is being engaged in the process, and being a part of this groundbreaking transformation.  The subscription fee is a small fraction of the actual cost of such a program to the general public.
  • What happens to the extra funds that come in, beyond budget?   ~We are a non-profit organization.  All funds are dedicated to the project.
  • If there is an interest, are we open to forming working groups for certain sections?   ~We are open to everything that will enable us to achieve the result we intend to achieve, sooner, better, more extensively.  That being said, the groups must not work independent of the system.  They will be interacting with Michoel and Cheryl on a regular basis.  Cheryl will be consolidating, documenting, refining, and integrating the work of these groups into the modules.
  • How exactly does the process work for Phase I … will we be starting with one department and implementing, or working on all simultaneously and waiting several months to unveil product?  ~We will be starting with the overriding E-Myth logic that is essential for each Shliach to truly understand in order for the process to make more sense.  But, once having come to agreement about the Org Chart and the Position Contracts (we’re working on that now), we will start at the bottom of the Organization, each Shliach selecting the function he believes to be most important to begin the process of organizing it, to prepare himself to delegate what can be delegated to either employees or volunteers as the case might be.  As this takes place, along with the Teleconferences we will be participating in every week, the inspiration, education, training, coaching and mentoring that must support it will lead to the realizations each of must have to grow.
  • What is the timeframe for completion?  What happens if it’s not “ready” within the one year for which we pay membership?   ~It will be “ready” when it is “ready.”  This is not a one year project; this is a transformation of the organization of Chabad Worldwide. Our commitment at Chabad E-Myth is to stay the course no matter how long it takes.  In short, you’re not in this for a year’s subscription.  You’re in this to learn how to organize and grow in a way that you never thought possible, while transforming the way every Chabad House works to produce the Dream, Vision, Purpose and Mission of the network of Chabad Houses Worldwide.
  • What will the “project” look like in the end?  Manuals?  Everything electronic?   ~Yes, But most importantly, it will look like the most effective organization in the world, with manuals that document how that effectiveness is achieved in the hands of ordinary people who are dedicated to the realization of Moshiach Now!  who are active members of The Rebbe’s Army.
  • What becomes of the Chabad Houses that do not join?  Can they get in on this mid-way?  What will be the pay structure of that?   ~All Chabad Houses may join at some point in time.  We will be working in three phases.  Enrollment opens and closes on specific dates.  The question is, “Why would you not join now, and be a part of this groundbreaking work?”  We cannot think of this as a “cost,” but rather an investment.  Your return on investment will be high.  You will produce more than you have ever produced.
  • Are there leaders in the group?  How are they chosen?  How do we resolve differences?  ~Michoel Gerber is the leader of Chabad E-Myth, since he is the "inventor" of E-Myth.  The Program Director, Cheryl White is the main point of contact.  All employees and consultants report directly to her.  Shluchim actively participate in the process by sharing their thoughts and conclusions about the systems and procedures needed to achieve the outcome we are all committed to.  Rabbis Motis Friedman and Rabbi Meilech DuBrow assist the group in resolving  any issue for which there is a perceived conflict with Chassidis.
  • It seems like way too much work.  How will I find the time.  I'm much too busy already!  ~If you're way too busy now, you NEED to join Chabad E-Myth.  Yes, as with any project, it's an investment of time.  But in the end, you are learning to structure your organization in such a way that will save you time later.
  • The program sounds difficult and complicated.  I don't think it's something I am capable of doing. ~ It can seem overwhelming as we begin, but we are doing this as a team.  You will have support from the shluchim, leaders, and of course Michoel and Cheryl every step of the way.  We need your involvement because YOU know what you do, and we need YOUR ideas as we proceed.  We're building this together, from the ground up.  The question is, do you want to grow your organization and have it run efficiently, or do you want to continue to work, work, work, and never get ahead?  Join us on our journey.
  • The program is just beginning.  Why should I do this now, when in a year the work will be finished and I can benefit from the system then?  ~ Do you wait until the student has learned his Hebrew letters before you have him speak it?  Do you not schedule services because your Shul is under construction?  Do you take the exam without taking the course?  Why would you NOT want to do this from the beginning, gaining the insights of organization and efficiency and practicing Chabad E-Myth as we build the system?  Join us on our journey.
